Vicente Wolf

I love Vicente Wolf.  No, really.  He doesn't know it yet, but if I could answer his calls, take his messages, book his appointments, bring his shoes to the cobbler, I would.  I think he's brilliant.  And generous and humble and brilliant...
We went to the Kips Bay decorators show house last month and saw this space he designed, so fabulous:

Of course all that creamy white against the wood panelling looked absolutely delicious, it brightens up the room, softens it, modernizes it.
And he created conversation areas that loosened everything up, with that curved banquette just wonderfully softening the far corner, making it intimate even though it's still totally chic and grand (just as this space deserves to be).
